ClearWater 1.5kg pH Minus is the most effective way to reduce pHlevels in your pool or spa if they've dropped below the optimum level. If pH levels are off balance it can hinder the effect of chlorine, leading to increased contamination and sanitation problems.
The optimum pH level of pool and spa water is 7.0 to 7.6. This can be tested using pH Dip Tests or an Aquatest Pool Water Tester. If pH levels are too high then using a pH reducer to bring them down will help to avoid side effects such as burning eyes and itchy skin.
Always read the instructions carefully before bringing the pH down in your spa or pool. Once you've applied the pH decreaser and left it to disperse you should do another dip test to check that the pH level has adjusted correctly. If you've added too much of the pH treatment then you may have to use Clearwater pH Increaserto increase the pH level.
